Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons here in the Northwest. The leaves turn, the mornings get crisp, and something about this time of year pulls us back home to the people and places we love most. I think about the people receiving this newsletter more than you might know. Many of you trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of your life, and others have sent friends and family my way. Your Winter Home Checklist |
01 BOOK YOUR FURNACE SERVICE
Schedule professional cleaning and servicing, or a heat-pump tune-up. Check filters and clean or replace them as directed.
02 KEEP RAINWATER MOVING
Clear leaves from gutters, downspouts and drainage paths. 03 PROTECT YOUR PIPES
Disconnect hoses, cover hose bibs and insulate exposed pipes. Locate your water shutoff. 04 SEAL OUT DRAFTS
Check weatherstripping around doors and windows.
05 CHECK YOUR ALARMS
Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms; check backup batteries. 06 GET STORM-READY
Have qualified professionals assess roof leaks and overhanging branches. Refresh flashlights and storm supplies. My advice? Pick just one of these and get it on the calendar this week. Future you will be glad you did.

Our annual Client Appreciation Harvest Party at The Original Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island was one of the highlights of my year.
